Dianne will support the Health Care infrastructure that Collin County needs. As a single mom, Dianne understands the fear in a mother’s heart when choosing healthcare options for her children. Dianne will expand access to community clinics to guarantee that no member of our community is left out.
Building community policing relationships as an alternative to incarceration and criminalization is a top priority. It is so important that as Collin County grows we continue to invest in programs that keep our young on the path to successful, meaningful, healthy lives. Dianne will work to make sure Collin County is investing in mentorships and youth programs that are accessible to all.
We need to be aware of and fight for equality for everyone in Collin County. Young people who identify as LGBTQIA+ are more likely to experience violence, suicidal thoughts, or physically harm themselves. Dianne firmly stands with the LGBTQIA+ community and will be the voice of equality and compassion on the Commissioners Court.
As Collin County continues to grow at record speed, Dianne will work to make sure highways, roads, and streets meet the needs of the people. Dianne’s top priority is that everyone in Collin County has reliable access to their work, school and health care.
Living in such an affluent area, like Collin County, should mean that our residents have excellent public services available to them. Why then are important providers like Lifepath Systems critically underfunded? Why then are food pantries all over the county running out of food and school supplies during COVID when we need these services the most? Dianne will make sure we are appropriately managing the budget to give families public options in a time of need. She will also work to give families access to nature preserves, community parks, clean water and plenty of open spaces.
Our veterans and military fought for our country and Dianne will fight for them. That means prioritizing the needs of servicemembers, and veterans. Dianne will defend and advocate for investing in veteran’s healthcare and defending against corporate privatization attempts.
“As a Collin County resident for more than two decades, I appreciate the benefits of living in this community as well as understanding the challenges we face. Small businesses MUST have the opportunity to succeed. “
