Dianne has been a part of the Collin County Community as a working mom for more than two decades. Her experience working for the federal government for 13+ years gives her a unique perspective on the complexities of dealing with government at the local, county, state, and federal levels. She has led teams and worked in de-escalation capacities during her time in both telecommunications and banking.
A mother to a wonderful special needs child, Dianne has worked hand in hand with the caring people at Collin County’s LIFEPATH SYSTEMS. She understands, more than most, the need for everyone in Collin County to access quality healthcare.
Dianne will work hard to make sure our government is delivering a basic social safety net for all of our Collin County families as well as providing infrastructure so everybody has equal access to resources.
Early Years: Born in New Orleans, Louisiana then raised in rural Connecticut, Dianne was a happy child who enjoyed nature and spending time with her parents in their beautiful veggie garden. Dianne and her family moved to Kentucky and later Texas for her father's job.
Dianne attended Trinity University and later the University of Houston on a National Merit Finalist and President's Scholarship for her excellent performance in school. Dianne married her former husband and they have three beautiful children and an amazing stepdaughter. Dianne is no longer married but remains good friends with the father of her children. She is a strong, capable, and compassionate Head of the Household as well as a politically involved member of the Collin County community.
